LLOYD GABY

(Ngāi Tahu - Ōraka-Apirama)

Based in the South Islands West Coast, Lloyd joined NZBTC in 2021 having worked in the building industry since 2005 as a carpenter, self-employed builder and a building official in the regulatory and compliance environment for local government.

Lloyd holds competencies within the National Building Consent Authority Competency Assessment System Framework for the inspection and certification of buildings within both residential and commercial complexity levels and for processing of building consent applications across all residential commercial complexity levels.

As a Regulatory Officer, Lloyd supports the NZBTC team assisting building consent and territorial authorities with processing building consent applications, inspection of building work, technical auditing, supervision, compliance schedules and technical leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

New Zealand Diploma in Construction (Construction Management) Level 6

National Certificate in Carpentry

Licensed Building Practitioner - Carpentry and Site 1
