RYan Gearry

Ryan has been involved in the regulatory environment since 2012, where he was employed by the Christchurch City Council as a building inspector.

He undertook general inspections until in 2015 where he was appointed the position of a senior building inspector.

His role included ensuring compliance with building consents up to Res 3 and Com 1, and providing technical and process guidance to external and internal customers.

He also undertook supervision, mentoring and competency reviews of staff.

Qualifications

National Diploma in Building Control Surveying (Small Buildings Level 5)

National Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4)

 National Award in Customer Service

 National Certificate in Compliance and Regulatory Control (Parking Enforcement) (Level 3)

 National Certificate in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering (Level 3).
